Learning resources

German.net – Some good explanations of basic grammar and lots of exercises. If you sign in you can track progress.

https://www.reddit.com/r/German - Questions on the German language answered by native speakers. No question too trivial and (mostly) very patient answers. Read the instructions first.

Gender trainer - http://deutsch.ie/german-grammar/die-der-das-game/

Learning Podcasts

Coffee Break German + Coffee Break German Advanced – Learn alongside someone else. This is beginner to intermediate.

German Grammar Pod.  - This is very old and so difficult to find. Anyone who’s listened to Coffee Break German 1 will recognise the host as the grammar guru. Different topics that start at begginer level and progress to advanced within the same podcast. I’ve listened to each a number of times both for revision and to progress.

Deutsch Training Podcast. Intermediate+. Two people talking about a set topic eg Christmas. Very useful because their website contains the transcript. https://deutschtraining.org/

Slow German – Does what it says. Lots of different subjects with a transcript on the website. I https://slowgerman.com/

Expertlygerman Podcast – An eclectic mix of subjects from simple grammar to business German.
